During my trip to Lefkada, I stayed at the ERIEL Boutique Apartments. It was a nice apartment, within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Great base to explore the old town and surrounding area. There was free public parking nearby if you drive.

Lefkada Town has some cultural attractions, such as  Agios Spyridon Church and  Archaeological Museum, providing opportunities for sightseeing and learning about the island’s history.

Lefkada Town is situated on a lagoon, and you can enjoy a stroll along the waterfront. There are also waterfront tavernas where you can savor local cuisine while enjoying the view.

  • Mid-range ($$): Allure Central Boutique Hotel, great accommodation in a quiet side street, just one block from the main strip and bus stop for catching buses around the island. They also offer paid airport transfers, car rental service, and free parking.
  • Mid-range ($$): Lefkadio Suites, great accommodation, 10 mins walk from the town center, easy access to Restaurants, shops and the Marina.
  • Mid-range ($$): Pirofani, set on a quiet location right on the main street, close to the ferry port, the lagoon, and a bus stop to catch buses to other parts of the island. There are many bars, coffee bars, and restaurants nearby.

2. Nidri

Nidri, also spelled Nydri, is a popular tourist destination on the eastern coast of Lefkada, 17 kms southeast of Lefkada Town. This town has bus connections to Nikiana, Lygia, and Lefkada Town.

  • Budget ($): Gogo – Γωγώ Rooms, lovely apartment centrally located in a quiet area just behind the main street. Walking distance to the ferry, the beach, restaurants, super markets, and bus stops.

3. Nikiana

  • budget ($): Elianthi Luxury Apartments, this accommodation is set in a convenient, central quiet location. It is  just off Main Street, within walking distance to Cafe, bakery and tavernas. 
  • budget ($): Eleana Boutique Hotel & Blue Infinity, good location, within walking distance to  the beach and many good restaurants and taverns. The bus stop is just a short walk down towards the port. Good base for those who want a quiet base on the island.

4. Ligia

Ligia, also spelled Lygia, is a small fishing village situated approximately 6 kilometers south of Lefkada Town. Ligia is known for its tranquil atmosphere, traditional charm, and fishing heritage.

Ligia has a quaint fishing harbor where visitors can witness the daily activities of local fishermen. The harbor is often dotted with colorful fishing boats and provides a picturesque setting for a leisurely stroll.

  • Budget ($): Thealos Village, beautiful spacious apartment with a wonderful view, delicious breakfast. 20 mins walk from restaurants and the beach. Best suited for those who have cars.

5. Agios Nikitas
