Hi guys, on my website, I already wrote an article about safe areas in Antalya for first-timers (I will put the link to it at the end of this article). In today’s article, I will help you to find the best places to stay in Antalya for families with kids.

I will share with you what I believe are the best areas to stay in Antalya for families, along with a map. I’ll also share where I stayed in Antalya and recommend some of the best family-friendly hotels in Antalya for visitors with various budgets.

Antalya is a popular tourist destination on the southwestern coast of Turkey. It is known for its stunning landscapes, historic sites, and Mediterranean beaches.

The Old Town (Kaleiçi) is characterized by narrow streets, Ottoman-era architecture, and historic sites. Some notable ones include Hadrian’s Gate, the Hıdırlık Tower, and the Antalya Archaeological Museum.

In the nearby Antalya, you can visit several ancient cities like Perge and Aspendos. Perge features well-preserved ruins, while Aspendos is renowned for its ancient theater.

In addition to historical attractions, Antalya boasts beautiful beaches such as Konyaaltı and Lara Beach. It also has stunning mountains including the Taurus Mountains, Düden and Kursunlu waterfalls.

Is Antalya a good place to visit with family?

Yes, absolutely. Antalya is a great destination for family vacations. Antalya offers a combination of stunning natural beauty, historical sites, and a variety of family-friendly activities.

Your family can enjoy relaxing on the sandy beaches, visit many historical sites, explore the family-friendly Antalya Aquarium and Toy Museum, visit the Düden Waterfalls, and try many Turkish dishes like kebabs and pide (Turkish pizza).

Where to stay in Antalya for families with kids?

The best areas to stay in Antalya for families with kids are Old Town Kaleici, Konyaalti Beach, Lara Beach, and Belek Beach. These areas offer plenty of family-friendly accommodations for all budgets and easy access to child-friendly amenities and beaches.

Old Town Kaleici is a great option for families who want a central location and easy access to historical landmarks, vibrant nightlife, and local markets. This area is home to iconic Hadrian’s Gate, Clock Tower, Yivli Minaret (Fluted Minaret), and Hıdırlık Tower.

Konyaalti Beach and Lara Beach are the best locations for families who want a beach holiday and easy access to Antalya Old Town. Konyaalti Beach is located in the west of the old town, while  Lara Beach is located in the east of the old town. These areas have many family-friendly attractions and hotels.

Belek Beach, located a bit further away from Antalya city center, is an excellent base if your family prefers luxurious, child-friendly resorts with extensive facilities. This area is known for Golf resorts, high-end hotels, water parks, and proximity to ancient ruins like Aspendos.

During my trip to Antalya, I stayed at Rixos Downtown Antalya. It was a great hotel conveniently located between Old Town Kaleici and Konyaalti Beach, easy access to the historical landmarks and the beaches. It is also a family-friendly hotel with a dedicated playground for kids, an amazing kids club, and free entrance to land of legends.
